In Sitges, a project may involve a courtyard house on a narrow street or a contemporary home facing the sea. Before designing the renovation, we review the individual property, its access and the owner's needs.
For an older house, the survey records courtyards, openings, heights and features the owner wants to retain. Planning status and possible protection requirements must be checked for the exact address with the council and the appropriate professional. A solution allowed in another house is not assumed to be permitted here.
We compare finish, hardware and joinery specifications against actual exposure to sunlight, water and the marine environment. Samples are reviewed in the home's own light; the approved finish, maintenance and any substitution are recorded. Interior and exterior applications need different decisions.
Planning covers vehicle access, unloading, storage and coordination with the owners' association where applicable. For owners abroad, decision points, reporting and inspections before hidden work is closed are agreed in advance. Scope and budget are defined after a property visit.
